Cellist, Composer, Orchestrator
Originally from Denver, Colorado, Megan is a one-of-a-kind music professional who specializes in Cello Performance, Composition, and Orchestration. Throughout their youth, Megan was an active member of the Denver Young Artists Orchestra where they played under the baton of Maestra Javan Carson and Maestro Wes Kenney while performing on the world’s finest stages such as Carnegie Hall. Megan received primary instruction from Jennifer Fouse. In 2017, Megan began studying Agriculture and Cello Performance at Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. Here, Megan studied cello under Mr. Benjamin Cline and performed under the baton of Maestro Shah Sadikov and Dr. Brian Buckstead. While at Fort Hays State University, Megan began composition and orchestration studies under Dr. Timothy Rolls. Also at Fort Hays State University, Megan worked as the stage manager for the Fort Hays State University Theatre Department where they learned about technical theatre and strengthened their love for musical theatre. On the electric cello, Megan has played with metal bands in Colorado and Kansas and continues to seek new opportunities for this instrument.
Currently, Megan resides in North New Jersey is pursuing a Master of Music in Cello Performance degree while studying under Dr. Tomoko Fujita at Montclair State University in Montclair, New Jersey.
Megan is available for hire as a cellist, as a composer, and as an orchestrator.
